Retro Collector for NES App Reviews

No longer able to use this app. After last update it crashes on load.

I’ve been using this app for years and love it. The best view of NES collecting lists, no free form stuff you have to enter. Nice and clean, love the Trophy Room concept, too. You can even filter out games like unlicensed ones or the NWC you’ll never get anyway…highly recommended!

I catalogued my Nes collection of nearly 500 games in around 2 hours with this app. It shows the value and changes daily weather a game rises in value. Tap the game. Select cart / manual / box and it adds everything up perfect!

Could really use an Xbox app Could also use intellivision It would be cool if there was a hardware value guide too Id like to keep track of the values of my consoles and accessories for those consoles. Other than that, Id say these are awesome apps.

I loved this app so much I got the SNES version of it. How ever I wish that they would add the classic series of games (i.e legend of Zelda classic series gray cart). I know there isnt really a huge difference in the value but for some one that is collecting variances of each cart this would be a must have. Also I noticed while adding a custom game (The Legend of Zelda Outlands) once you add the game to all games you cant delete it? Not sure if this is true or if I just havent found the delete button for it yet. Also if you could add a place for NES accessories in this app and different systems (i.e. Top loader, dog bone controller, action set system) this would be amazing and 5 starts all the way.

The app is amazing for any collector. It doesnt have every title under the sun but the ones that are missing are usually the unofficial titles. My only wish is the app had a game description feature and screen shots to see if the game is worth hunting down. For any completionist, it is near perfect

This app is perfect! I love that I can look up the games value right in the app. I am going to buy the N64 one and really hope they release on for the original Xbox!

This is a great app. And the new updates with ebay and YouTube links make this a must for any NES enthusiasts and collectors.

These apps are great for tracking your collection! My only requests would be adding data on specific games like game type, studio, developers etc. and making that searchable. Also an easy to reference price guide that is current and maybe follows vgpc.com or such and could show trends/time values? Also an addition for variants as a separate cart or disc with pictures. Everything else is great! Best one for iOS Ive seen.

I like this app for my collection of games. The pricing might not be 100% nor do I agree that $3.99 is a good price for it. But in general, I like it.

I like this app more than CLZ. It only takes a couple taps to add games and you can easily scroll through the full list so you dont need to type out on a mobile device. Theres a separation of want list as well as remaining games needed for a full collection, so I dont need to turn my wantlist into every game left. Sorting by rarity and value is also nice. Its a well designed app if you plan to track you collection on mobile. If I ever go for a full set of another system, Ill get that app too.
